Haven’t updated the page in a while, but I have been working hard for you guys. I just finished parts 1 and 2 of the story of my trip to Chico. Check them out over in the Mental R&D section. I thought I’d be done with the whole thing, but trust me, writing this story is more time consuming than it may seem and I want to make sure I remember everything correctly. In unrelated news, last night Sib and I went to Alberto’s, the 24-hour mexican joint that we used to make midnight runs to when I was in college. Alberto’s has been renamed to Alejandro’s. Go figure. If you’re not familiar with the weirdness surrounding Alberto’s, there are a bunch of them all over Southern California especially in San Diego County. Now the weird thing is that they all have different names, but all look the same and serve similar food. There’s Filberto’s, Milberto’s, Gilberto’s, and even Juanberto’s. For some reason, it just freaks me out and I don’t know why. It’s like a group of guys got together to form this consipiracy that makes absolutely no sense and has no purpose. There was also this store next to “Alejandro’s” that had a sign that said “ORALE DISCOUNT!” Sib and I couldn’t stop laughing as we tried to say the phrase in our best (or actually worst) vato accents.

Anyways, if you haven’t figured it out yet, Antia Young of the String Burners is “with child” as they say, so congratulations to her and Mick!
