Mark McBride, Yoshi Mikamoto, and I will be running a contest for new and beginner yo-yoers tomorrow, February 6, 2010 at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, CA. The event will be from 11:00am – 2:00pm and we’ll be focusing on teaching beginners the basics and fundamentals of yo-yoing. Then, we’ll let the kids take the stage and have a yo-yo trick battle. If you’ve been wanting to learn how to yo-yo, here is your chance. If you’re a veteran yo-yoer, come out and help us teach… we’re expecting plenty of students and it should be a lot of fun.
