Steve Brown is one of the early figures of Triple A and the only National Master that has a seat in the Triple A dynasty. Historians and mythologists have found writings and legends that refer directly or indirectly to Steve Brown dating back to years before the formation of Triple A. The earliest records linking Steve to Triple A involve a folktale that a small band of Himalayan tribesmen told to a National Geographic reporter. In Central Asia the Creation myth that tells the story of the origin of Triple A includes the founder of House Velvet making a bet with ìThe Pale Devilî over who would be the first to do a two yo string trick. As the tale goes it was a standing bet for many millennium when both the Founder of House Velvet and ìThe Pale Devilî lived in ìA place of unending pandemoniumî. Tales of this place of never-ending chaos had been heard in other parts of the world and quickly disregarded since the other legends attached to it seemed to far fetched to be anything but the fables of retarded peasants.

But a huge break came when archeologists translated the parchments now known as the ìSecond Book of Fiendî and discovered a story about the origin of Velvet Rolls which very clearly makes a reference to the first mortal man to do them (who we knew was the founder of House Velvet) making bets with a ìSteve Brownî. Other stories we had heard from inmates in a Peruvian jail did place these two figures together on other occasions and now this ìSteve Brownî character is widely considered to be the exact same person as the ìPale Devilî in many of the Triple A tribal legends (except the one about the Pale Devil and the airline stewardesses in Hamburg, no one believes that).

In the confirmable history of Triple A we know that Steve Brown is in fact the founder of The Assisted. The Assisted is a very secretive group that is considered part of Triple A but not a traditional house. The first recorded surfacing of The Assisted was when Brown showed off ìAssisted Suicideî at Chico 2000. As tales go Steve later came up with other Assisted moves but they were all considered too silly to be worth the effort and seen only by a happenstance few. Years later, at Worlds ë01 members of Rhown Die Die, the evil Japanese corporation bent on world domination, showed up with other Assisted tricks and took the place by storm. This strong connection between the Assisted and Rhown Die Die has put the Assisted under much scrutiny from the American factions of the other Triple A houses.
