Duncan Freehand X-Prototype
- glasseye
This is the first of three prototypes which was donated by Duncan Toys to help get Jason Lee
to the 2001 World Yo-Yo Contest. I've confirmed with Steve Brown that less than 30 of these
were made and less than 20 left the factory. As you can see, the entire yo-yo (including the
sidecaps) is made from yellow polycarb. From the outside, it looks like a regular freehand
minus the logo, but on the inside you'll see where the real differences lie...
The X-Prototype uses a raised disc with an inverted starburst for a return system. (Click on the picture
to the left for a close-up).
